CPA Law, member of KPMG's international Legal and Tax services network, announces that Theodossis Tompras has joined the law firm as a Partner. Theodossis will be leading the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) and Energy practices.
Theodossis brings to our law firm a wealth of knowledge and more than 15 years of experience in Regulation, Compliance and Competition in Network Industries, with a main focus in Technology, Media, Electronic Communications and Energy. Theodossis has served for several years as WIND Hellas’ Legal Counsel and Legal Affairs Department Executive Director and was member of WIND Hellas Management Team. Before that he acted as the company’s Regulatory Affairs Director. In the energy sector, Theodossis earned his experience through his role as General Counsel of Aegean Power (member of AMPNI Group) and has actively participated in the energy markets liberalization process that was completed with Law 4001/2011 on the Operation of Electricity and Gas Energy Markets, for Exploration, Production and Transmission Networks of Hydrocarbons. Prior to these engagements, Theodosis worked as a legal advisor for a well-known business law firm.
Theodossis has also handled several M&As and clearance procedures at national & European Commission level, while he was involved in numerus debt & structured finance transactions, spectrum auctions and unlimited regulatory procedures. He has represented market players and participated in countless public consultations and hearings before the full range of Regulatory Authorities.
Theodossis is accredited Lawyer at the Supreme Court. He holds an MBA in Telecoms from Economic University of Athens as well as a Diploma in Tax Law and a Bachelor in Law from Athens Law School. He is a certified Risk Management – VaR and he was listed in Legal 500 “General Counsels Powerlist: Greece & Cyprus” in 2018 and 2019.
